These general terms and conditions govern the services provided by Dotengo. By engaging our services, the client agrees to these terms.

1. Purpose

Dotengo offers website and e-commerce store creation services, Odoo ERP integration and configuration, and connectivity between web platforms and management tools. The specific services are defined in the quote approved by the client.

2. Quotes and orders

Each project is subject to a detailed quote. The quote is valid for the duration specified therein. Services begin following the client's written acceptance of the quote and, where applicable, payment of the agreed-upon deposit.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices are specified in the quote. Unless otherwise stated, a deposit may be requested at the start of the project, with the balance due upon delivery. Invoices are payable within the indicated timeframe. Any late payment may incur interest in accordance with Belgian law.

4. Deadlines

Completion deadlines are provided for information purposes and are agreed upon with the client. They depend in particular on the client's responsiveness in providing the necessary content and approvals. Dotengo cannot be held responsible for delays due to a lack of cooperation from the client.

5. Client obligations

The client agrees to provide the information, content, and access necessary for the proper execution of the service, and to approve project stages within reasonable timeframes. The client is responsible for the legality and accuracy of the content they provide.

6. Intellectual property

Once the project is paid in full, the client becomes the owner of the site or the developments delivered, except for elements subject to third-party licenses (themes, plugins, fonts, platforms such as Webflow, Shopify, or Odoo), which remain governed by their own terms. Dotengo reserves the right to mention the completed project as a reference, unless the client requests otherwise.

7. Liability

Dotengo is committed to performing its services with professionalism and diligence. Its liability is limited to the services provided and does not cover indirect damages (loss of revenue, data, or customers). Dotengo does not guarantee continuous and uninterrupted operation of third-party services used (hosting, platforms, tools).

8. Maintenance and support

Unless otherwise agreed, maintenance and support are not included in the initial service and are subject to a separate agreement. Post-delivery follow-up terms are specified in the quote or a dedicated contract.

9. Termination

If the client cancels the project after it has started, services already rendered remain due. Each party may terminate the collaboration in the event of a serious breach by the other party, following a formal notice that remains unheeded.

10. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will strive to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the Belgian courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
